Who we are
aegntic.ai is the personal portfolio and contact site of Mattae Cooper, an independent software engineer. Mattae Cooper is the data controller responsible for this site. This policy applies only to aegntic.ai — not to any third-party sites it links to (such as GitHub, cldcde.cc, logue.pro, clawreform.com, or X/Twitter).
What data we collect
We only collect data you choose to give us, through one of two forms:
- Enquiry form — your name, email, selected service, message and optional repository or system URL. We also record the internal page path where the enquiry began, the selected offer, submission time, enquiry status and notification status. The source path excludes query strings and fragments.
- Newsletter — if you subscribe, we receive your email address.
The enquiry database does not store IP addresses, browser details, referrers, fingerprints or advertising identifiers. Please do not include passwords, access tokens or sensitive customer data in your message or system URL.
A random key and content checksum help prevent an unchanged retry from creating a duplicate enquiry. They relate to that submission, not to you as a visitor, and are not used to follow your browsing.
Why we collect it & legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry (contact form) — based on your consent and our legitimate interest in replying.
- To send occasional project updates (newsletter) — based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1, the database service of our hosting provider Cloudflare. Enquiry details are also sent to hello@aegntic.ai as an email notification so Mattae can respond. A notification failure does not delete a stored enquiry. Because Cloudflare operates global infrastructure, your data may be processed in a country other than your own, subject to Cloudflare's own safeguards.
Cookies & local storage
The enquiry form does not set cookies or save your draft in browser storage. An unsent draft stays in the open page's memory and is lost when you reload or leave the page. This version does not add browsing analytics or advertising trackers.
Third parties
- Cloudflare — hosts the site, stores form data (D1), and sends enquiry notifications through Email Service. Hosting and email providers process connection and delivery data needed to operate their services; this is separate from the enquiry fields listed above.
- Fonts — Inter and Space Grotesk are served from this site's own domain. Loading these typefaces does not require a Google Fonts request.
We never sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone except as required to operate the site, or where required by law.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed: contact messages until your enquiry is resolved (and any resulting work completed), newsletter entries until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR, CCPA, or Australian Privacy Principles), you may have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe) at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority

Children
aegntic.ai is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and data is held in Cloudflare D1. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the (minimal) data we hold.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "Effective" date above always reflects the current version.
